The North Carolina Mental Health Counselors Association is an interdisciplinary group of counseling professionals whose primary responsibilities involve service delivery in the area of pastoral counseling, private practice, consultation and community mental health counseling.

Workshop Series:
Promoting Behavioral Health and Wellness

The North Carolina Mental Health Counseling Association (NCMHCA) will host a workshop series during the 2012-13 academic calendar year. This year’s workshop theme is promoting behavioral health and wellness.

The workshop series will include three workshops in different regions of North Carolina. The first workshop will be held on Friday, November 16, 2012, from 9:00 am until 12:00 (noon) on the campus of North Carolina State University in Daniels Hall. This workshop will be facilitated by Mr. Jeremiah Hopes. The workshop will focus on providing “culturally competent counseling.”

Individuals interested in attending the workshop should complete and send the Registration Form and payment to the noted address. The registration deadline is November 2, 2012.
