This year’s theme is The Joy of Work: Positive Approaches to Career Success. Our hope is to showcase the positive nature of the work we do, learn strategies to stay motivated and energized, discuss the importance of advocating for not only or clients but ourselves, and examine career counseling from a strengths-based perspective.

We invite you to join us for a day focused on the joy of our work! Robert Martinez, PhD, Assistant Professor at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, will serve as our opening keynote speaker, and with discuss with us “Finding the Way,” by sharing his personal experience and career path, and encouraging us to serve as motivators, connectors, and emotional supporters of our students and clients. Kala Taylor, JD, Strengths-Based Educator and Associate Director for Career Development at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, will close our day with “Living with Purpose.”
