What is NCCDA?

The North Carolina Career Development Association (NCCDA) is comprised of professionals engaged in the field of career counseling and development. NCCDA is organized and governed in accordance with the by-laws of the National Career Development Association. NCCDA is a division of the North Carolina Counseling Association.

2019-20 Best Practices Grant

The North Carolina Career Development Association (NCCDA) offers Best Practices Grants to support the development of new career-related programs, research, or practices in North Carolina. Grants of up to $1,000 will be awarded annually to help finance innovation in the area of career development. In recent years, grants have been awarded to programs such as:

  • Expanding Resources for Future Higher Education Professionals
  • Industry Road Trip
  • Issuance of Tablet Devices to Career Counseling Students in Internship
  • Identifying the Self Perceived Career Development Needs of College Students with Autism Spectrum Disorder
