Career Connect day, Thursday, February 1

Attention Counseling Students and New Professionals!

Registration for Career Connect is now closed.

This year, the NCCA Conference has an entire day dedicated to you! Please plan to participate in the first annual “Career Connect” that will take place on Thursday, Feb. 1, 2018. This track will include content sessions that are focused on graduate student and new professional topics, allow you the opportunity to socialize with other students and new professionals from across the state, and interview with employers and supervisors who are hiring! The day will conclude with Poster Sessions where participants will either present their posters or visit those who are presenting them. Don’t miss this exciting opportunity during the 2018 conference. All participants will receive a certificate of completion. You must be pre-registered for this event and registered for the NCCA conference in order to participate.

The North Carolina Counseling Association (NCCA) would like to invite your organization to participate in our new Career Connect day at the 2018 NCCA Annual Conference. We are inviting organizations and companies from across the state to participate in this event designed to help current counseling students and recent counseling graduates find potential job opportunities, internships, or supervisors and create meaningful connections.

The Career Connect will be held on Thursday, February 1st from 2 – 4:00 pm at the Durham Convention Center. Current students and new professionals will have the opportunity to provide their resume, interview with potential organizations and supervisors, and explore job opportunities. If your organization would like to participate in this FREE opportunity, please register no later than Dec. 15, 2017 and we will contact you with more details about the event!  You do not need to be registered for the NCCA conference in order to participate.
