Race Class and Gender:  Counseling at the Intersection of Hurt and Healing
November 17, 2020,  6:00 – 9:00 PM

The dialog will begin with a panel discussion on social justice and mental health (6:00-7:00 PM). Panelists include, Dr. Marc Grimmett NC State University, Dr. Arlana Sims NCA&T State University, and Dr. Ebony White, Drexel University.  Students in the Counseling Poor and Ethnically Diverse Families course will also present on African American boys and education, school-age trauma, Black women and intimate partner violence, and single mothers and depression (7:00-9:00 PM).
1- hour NBCC credit (panel discussion)
