Frequently Asked Questions
What are the technical requirements to participate in the conference?
We will be using the Whova Event app for this conference, and Zoom for live stream presentations. The Zoom links to presentations are embedded in the Whova App and can be accessed from the Agenda in Whova.
You will need a device that can support either the Whova web app (computer, laptop) or mobile app (smartphone, tablet). Google Chrome is the preferred web browser for the Web App. To access the Web App from your computer or laptop, simply sign on to whova.com and login with the email you used to register for the conference. You will need an internet connection.
The Whova mobile app can be downloaded from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. You will receive instructions to download the app when you register for the conference.
You may find that it is ideal to use both the web app and mobile app. The web app is best for attending sessions, and the mobile app is great for interacting with attendees.
What is Whova?
Whova is an event management platform that combines an online app, event registration and logistics. The app provides both a desktop and a mobile app where attendees are able to:
- View and customize their conference agenda
- Attend and participate in conference sessions
- Meet and network with other attendees
- Pose questions and discussions to organizers or attendees
- Plus a lot more!
Access to the Whova App is FREE to attendees.
When will I be able to access the conference platform?
When you register and pay for the conference, you will have access to the platform.
However, we recommend that you DO NOT begin customizing your agenda until you are notified by email from conference organizers to do so. The agenda is subject to change and will not be finalized until mid-January.
