NCCA Journal

The North Carolina Counseling Association Journal is an annual on-line journal with goals of fostering research and scholarly endeavors, providing a medium for communication among professional counselors in NC; and enhancing continuing education opportunities for counselors throughout the state. The Editors invite counselor educators, supervisors, practitioners, and counseling students to submit manuscripts that address current professional counseling issues. NCCA Listserv

Receive regular email updates on events and issues of interest to NC counselors. Submit announcements and other items of interest to Calvin Kirven at ckirven@nccounseling.org.

Counselor Advocacy

The NCCA Government Relations Committee advocates for legislation and policy which benefits NC counselors and the counseling profession. Receive NCCA and ACA legislative updates through email. Check the Government Relations section of the web site for information on current issues.
