2015 Collaboration of Care Conference

To whom it may concern,

We are excited to announce the 2015 Collaboration of Care Conference. Last year’s conference was an amazing success, and we look forward to great outcomes and education from this conference. This year’s conference “Partnering for Mental Health Care in Eastern NC” will provide community providers, clinicians, and community members the resources to ensure seamless care for those who suffer from mental health and substance use disorders. The topics presented will provide information to provide less disruptive transitions for patient care, and better coordinated care with a more consistent message and continued improvement. Topics will range from substance abuse disorders, legal issues for patients, dealing with chronic pain, combating eating disorders, utilizing peer support specialists, integrating care, improving access to care, to overcoming barriers in treatment. The conference will close with a case study with perspectives from across the mental health spectrum. Attendees will have hands on workshops and lectures to discuss patient needs, patient care, and discussion on the state of the mental health system in NC. CEUs have been applied to be offered through East Carolina University: Office of Continuing Education.
